After operating for 37 years in the Town of Winthrop, FKO gathered with friends, colleagues, supporters and family to celebrate a moment that so many have worked hard to achieve - the Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting of our new program FKO Winthrop.

Last week, FKO children at Pope John in Everett had lots of fun learning about how to take care of the planet while they made delicious edible ocean art! Such a creative way to get children engaged in their learning, Everett staff!

FKO staff have been working their hardest to make sure this summer is one that children will never forget! Each child attending FKO’s ‘Summer of You!’ will be receiving a summer wellness bag, water bottle, t-shirts (thanks Universal Screening Studio!), fidget toys and more!

Ralph Tufo, musician, and author of two children’s books ‘Brotherly Love’ and Seemore the Seagull’ visited FKO children in Winthrop to read them the stories, do coloring activities, and dance to shanties! The children had such a great time. Thank you, Ralph!
