This semester FKO children at the Welch School created their own restaurants! Throughout the semester children came up with their restaurants’ name, logo, menu, and layout. They went over the different positions that work in a restaurant, toured the Welch School kitchen and even created their own budgets! As they wrapped up this cumulative project, children chose two of their menu items to cook and serve to their peers. Children made tacos, spaghetti with garlic bread and Oreo balls!We love how PBLs like this showcase our #CoreValues by bringing a holistic approach to learning that centers on creativity, individuality, and imagination! What an awesome PBL, Welch School Staff!
