A Brighter Holiday Season for Over 500 Children

Due to the generosity of so many donors (named below), FKO staff and some additional helpers were able to fulfill over 500 children’s holiday wishlist with toys, pajamas, and jackets! We are extremely grateful to those who came together to help assemble the gift bags.

We extend our gratitude to: Boston Properties, Senator Sal DiDomenico, Red’s Rubbish Removal, Winthrop Police Department, Toys For Tots, Macy’s, Pajama Program, Little Happynest, and all the individual donors for making this toy drive possible! A special thank you to Malik Howshan, Chelsea Public Schools Director of Extended Learning and Alex Sanchez Soares, Chelsea Public Schools Director of Culturally Responsive Teaching & Learning, for taking time out of their busy day to help with the Chelsea family donations! It’s truly incredible what can be done when a community comes together!
