CDBG Week in Revere!

What an amazing day we had at Youth In Motion in Revere last week! A huge thank you to Mayor Brian Arrigo, HUD Regional Administrator Juana Matias, Jeff Turco for State Representative and Representative Jessica Giannino for joining us to celebrate CDBG Week! A special thank you to Revere’s Community Development Manager Danielle Osterman, and the Mayor’s entire team for organizing this event but mostly for many years of collaboration, unwaivering support and extensive resources. Out-of-school time programming is an essential service, and many Revere families continue to struggle to find safe, consistent, and affordable services that can provide a stimulating and fun environment for their children while they work. With CDBG funding, FKO will now be able to connect more low-income and at-risk school-age youth with high-quality, fun afterschool and summer enrichment activities that can boost their learning and social-emotional recovery.Thank you, City of Revere/Revere 311 and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development! ¡Gracias a nuestro increíble socio, Boston Landmark Orchestra, por traer su "Musical Playground" a FKO Everett! Fue una oportunidad increíble para que los niños aprendieran de músicos profesionales a tocar instrumentos reales de la orquesta.
