A Message from FKO Executive Director to Staff, Children and Their Families

Yet again, children, families and communities are hurting in the aftermath of the horrific shooting in Buffalo, New York. This violence is made even more painful by the disgusting, racist ideas in the manifesto of the perpetrator who made clear his intent was specifically to target Black people. The abhorrently heinous and inexcusable actions he took have caused enormous suffering for the families and friends of the victims and all of us who find his fear, ignorance and hate all too common.
