Orientation Video
Get ready for an amazing summer at FKO! Please watch our Orientation Video before the first day of summer to learn about our weekly themes, daily routines, field trips, and on-site events. This video will introduce you to our dedicated staff and provide all the information you need for a fun and safe summer.
Theme Weeks
Each week is thoughtfully designed around a unique theme to ensure a fun and enriching experience for all children. Throughout the week, kids will participate in a variety of daily physical activities, join engaging enrichment clubs, and enjoy thrilling field trips and on-site events.
Field Trips and On-Site Events
Twice per week, programs venture to places that provide enriching experiences for every child. Participation in off-site trips is mandatory for all children enrolled on field trip days. Parents must sign a permission slip to ensure their child’s safety and participation. If you haven’t signed the permission slip yet, please contact your Site Director. In the event of inclement weather, field trips will be held at the program. Families will be notified of any changes to the scheduled field trips. In addition to field trips, we also host a variety of exciting on-site events. These events include themed parties and entertainment brought in from local vendors.

Information and Reminders
Meals and Snacks
- Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack is provided daily (menu available at programs and e-mailed weekly).
- FKO IS PEANUT FREE – children should not be bringing peanut products from home.
- Please let us know if your child has any dietary restrictions or allergies.
- If bringing meals from home, know that FKO cannot re-heat food.
What To Bring
- FKO T-Shirts (worn every day)
- Change of clothes
- Water bottle
- Towel and bathing suit
- We recommend that children do not bring items from home. FKO is not responsible for anything that is lost, stolen, traded or damaged.
Drop Off and Pick Up
- Children must be signed in and out of the program each day.
- Drop off is between 7:30am and 8:00am.
- Pick up is between 4:00pm and 5:30pm.
- Please notify the site if you are running late.
- Children must be picked up by somebody 16 or older and authorized in registration.
- Please have your ID ready to present at pick up.
