Theme Weeks

Each week of summer is built around a unique theme designed to spark imagination, build friendships, and make lasting memories. Children will take part in daily physical activities, hands-on enrichment clubs, and exciting experiences that bring each theme to life.

Field Trips and On-Site Events

Twice a week, our programs head out on fun and enriching field trips – exploring local destinations that inspire curiosity and adventure. Participation in off-site trips is required for all children attending that day.

✍️ Don’t forget to sign the permission slip! If you haven’t done so yet, please connect with your Site Director.

☀️ In case of bad weather, trips may be replaced with fun on-site programming. We’ll notify families of any changes.

When we’re not out exploring, we bring the fun to our programs with special on-site events – like themed parties, visiting performers, and hands-on activities from local partners.

Information and Reminders

Meals and Snacks

  • Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are provided daily.
  • Menus are available at programs and emailed weekly.
  • FKO is a peanut-free program — please do not send peanut products from home.
  • Let your Site Director know about any dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • If sending meals from home, note that FKO cannot reheat food.

What To Bring Each Day

  • FKO Summer T-Shirt (to be worn daily)
  • A full water bottle
  • Towel and bathing suit (for water play days)
  • A change of clothes

Drop Off and Pick Up

  • Children must be signed in and out each day.
  • Drop-off: 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM
  • Pick-up: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
  • If you are running late, please notify your site.
  • Children must be picked up by someone 16 or older who is listed as authorized in registration.
  • Please have your ID ready at pick-up.
