Sisters Debbie and Connie both entered the workforce as teachers. They quickly saw an issue \u2013 children were going home alone to empty houses when school got out. Debbie and her sister wanted more for their future children \u2013 they wanted some place loving, safe, and enriching where their children would continue to grow, make connections, build relationships, and bring meaning to what they learned during the school day. Our programs foster collaboration to build trust among us by listening, working together, and effectively communicating. By being supportive and compassionate, all perspectives and backgrounds are heard to create a positive place for everyone to learn and grow. Heartprints are like fingerprints, a unique identity and pattern for each of us, except heartprints are more beautiful and expressive. They are the patterns on every heart that makes us who we are and guides our unique feelings, thoughts, and actions.
