May is “Get Caught Reading Month” and FKO celebrated with a book handout for children and their families! Each FKO program received a basket of picture books, young reader books, and chapter books along with FKO bookmarks! We were able to hand out over 500 books throughout all our programs. This awesome idea was brought to life because of Peabody Regional Social Worker, Abby Slezak! Thank you, Abby for taking time out of your busy schedule to get books into the hands of FKO children!
