Breathe in, Breathe out!

Great news! FKO, in partnership with the City of Everett and Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the City of Revere/Revere 311 and Mayor Brian Arrigo, was selected amongst many applicants to receive a $70,000 grant from the After-School and Out-of-School Time (ASOST) Quality Enhancements Fund to support our social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives in Everett and Revere. With this funding, FKO will be able to enhance training of staff, develop a defined SEL Leadership Team, continue to build upon our social work team, purchase supplies and curriculum for SEL programming, and hold family workshops and events within these communities!

This funding comes at such an important time, as children continue to navigate the transitions they have been experiencing over the past year. Thank you, Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education for your continuous support!
