“Take a Break Kits” are Ready for Summer!

Thanks to Cummings Foundation and Macy’s generous support, FKO is distributing “Take a Break Kits” for K-8 children attending our summer programs! The kits are filled with fidget toys and other sensory tools that help regulate big emotions when children feel sad or upset. The kits, along with mindfulness techniques, let children take a break, reflect, and calm down before returning to good times with friends. Thank you, Cummings Foundation and Macy’s, for helping build social-emotional skills!
