Program Information
For Kids Only at the Whittier school is a
21st Century Afterschool Program. Each day, children in the
afterschool program receive help with their homework and
have the opportunity to join specific enrichment clubs such as
cooking, photography, science, math...or even a club about
chocolate! The 21st Century grant allows the children of
Everett to have access to a virtually unlimited list of
supplies and content specialist who specialize in teaching
these specific clubs. Since the start of the 2009/2010 school
year, FKO at the Whittier School has has doubled in size.
Site Coordinator:
Todd Kent
Todd Kent, Site Coordinator of FKO @ the Whittier School,
has been working with children for over ten years. Prior
to working with For Kids Only Afterschool, Todd has had
experience working with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and
was a substitute teacher for Leominster public schools.
Todd is a RAD kids instructor and even runs his own two week
long basketball camp every summer for youth grades 6th-9th.
Todd specializes in showing a child his/her self worth and how
important they are to their afterschool program as well as
their community.
