Program Information
For Kids Only, in collaboration with the
Everett Public Schools, runs a school-based after-school program
for elementary school children in grades K-8. The program
offers a math and literacy curriculum through the use of For
Kids Only afterschool educators and partnerships with school day
teachers, and other program resources. As of October 2009, the
program has doubled in capacity since its beginning in October
2007. This program is known for its amazing partnerships with
the Madeline English personnel and the Superintendants office in
Everett. With continued support and cooperation from the city
this program is expected to grow even further, both in size and
quality.

Dakota DeForge, Site Coordinator of FKO @
the Madeline English School, graduated with a degree in
psychology from UMASS Lowell. Dakota has been working with
children for over ten years and has worked for For Kids Only
Afterschool for over two years, starting as a Group Leader in
2008. Dakota has a strong vision of where she wants the
Madeline English afterschool program to go. Every day, FKO @ the
Madeline English School is filled with fun, learning, and
teambuilding. Dakota believes in the importance of
school/afterschool partnership and, therefore, ensures that the
For Kids Only continues to have a strong connection to the
school itself and the community.
