Standard Programming Schedule

For Kids Only school-year programs maintain the basic schedule that follows below. When programming is offered during vacation weeks and summer, the schedule is extended for full-day programming with added time given to our Learning and Growth Opportunities for youth curriculum (see below for more), physical fitness activities, outdoor games, specialized hands-on projects, and off-site learning.

2:00	Staff prepare for arrival of children
2:15	Choice Time with Interest Areas
2:45	Nutritious snack and time to socialize
3:15	Homework Centers open with targeted academic assistance
4:00	Learning and Growth Opportunities for Youth Enrichment opportunities (arts, media, music, science, outdoor explorations, fitness, etc.)
5:00	Free Choice Activities and Projects (homework centers continue, as needed)
5:30	Dismissal and Family Communications
6:00	Program Closes

School Vacation Week Programming Schedule

When programming is offered during school vacations, the schedule is extended for full-day programming with added time given to our Learning and Growth Opportunities for Youth curriculum physical fitness activities, outdoor games, specialized hands-on projects, and off-site learning. A sample full-day schedule is provided below:

8:30	Team Time
9:00	Choice of Enrichment Activities or Experiential Learning Examples of experiential learning include: Park clean-up day, Singing at the Senior Center, Visit to Historical Home, etc.
11:00	Tribal Communities
11:30	Lunch
12:30	Choice of Activities, Enrichment, Knowledge Nook
2:00	Snack
2:30	HEAT Healthy Eating Active Time – Designated time for nutritional discussion, community guests and physical and social activity.
3:00	Free Time
4:00	Enrichment, Brain Games, Choice of Activities
5:30	Dismissal and Family Communications
